Greetings WMRA competitors,
We will be running the 1st Annual Johnny Soares Classic a 100-lap dirt midget race at Petlauma Speedway on Oct. 6, 2012. This event will no doubt become a premier event for west coast midget competitors. I'd like to invite all WMRA, BCRA, & USAC competitors to this historic first event. The race will be run in two 50-lap segments with a 10-minute break after the first 50-laps to safely refuel. The race will pay a minimum of $1,500 to win, and $250 to start. A minimum purse of $8,000 will be paid. Petaluma Speedway is the fastest dirt 3/8-mile clay oval on the west coast with tremendous tacky, black, adobe clay. With WMRA's season ending in September please give consideration to running this event. If WMRA management would like to consider adding this event to it's dirt schedule, even if only as a non-points race we would very much appreciate that gesture.
If anyone has any questions please give me a call.
