Who can beat Evan Margeson? There is the usual cast of drivers but Evan qualifies well, he drives smart, and his equipment is well prepared. So who is going to be the next driver to make Evan work for the win?

My hope is that with his USAC sprint car experience Snake livernash can give Evan a run for the money.

For the first race it would be a pleasant surprise to see a new name win! And it would be nice if a few more of our regulars return for this season. How many cars/drivers are returning for this year? How about others beyond Nichols from BCRA, Gatrell, Kraft, Eldredge....Can or will they let us all know now? Nothing like a little bit of smack talking because as far as racing goes... nobody wins having it handed to them on a message board... at least not yet. For one .....the 13 car will surely have an A game and will be very quick this year. So this isnt going some flipping pretty cake ride for the 50 car. This aint diirt and it isnt oregon. That should help set the tone!

Margeson in the 50 car is looking real tough to beat..... actually unbeatible and checking out in the points, just like the guy with the crystal ball predicted. Looks like time to mail it in?

The coolest thing about this season is the level of competition. The 50's an amazing talent with an unrivaled committment to success. It goes without saying that he'll win races in any series he competes in. There's no doubt in my mind though (or his) that any number of other well prepared and experienced racers will see the winners circle this season.
We've run with other regional series around the country as well as USAC West/National. Nobody short of USAC National has anything on the depth of field that we're seeing. As we were getting started I was told to expect to do well if we ran well against the WMRA front runners. It was pointed out that our depth of field was the difference.
There truly are a number of cars that can win on any given night in the WMRA. Nick Behn paid us the ultimate compliment when he pulled me aside after race #1. He commented that we provided the best racing that he had seen in a long, long time.
I'd ask everyone to take a minute to reflect on the very 1st midget race that they ever saw. I remember my 1st. Compare that to the fendered cars on any given night and it reinforces the need to keep this form of racing alive.
Here's to the effort of a number of members that have seen to a very solid resurgence of midget racing in the Northwest...

It would be cool to see a dash tomorrow night at SS. Infact, how about a good old fashioned match race...... fans choice? 50 vs the 17 of Nichols? 22 vs the 13? or any combination of these. Fans pass the hat for their choice!!! A little bit of bragging rights.
